hi all, i don't have a trip computer as i have the poverty pack sx .
so don't quote L/100K but can work it out after i fill all the way up, i always fill all the way up never had a problem yet doing that. just wanted to say now i have 47,000k up its not hard to get 1,100k before refill driving in sydney, now i have just refilled in preparation to go out west for the weekend to my girlfriends. so will see if it gets same distance on a tank on mobil let you know. but driving fast in country 1,100 before fill up is easy and driving at speed limits and not driving agressive 1,200 is easy, driving carefully and planing your moves ahead so as not to have to brake hard or excellerate hard and not reving it over 2,000 and i got just over 1,300k before light came on. my car is stock i took the sport pipe off long ago it is still at my mates workshop, it worked fine just did not want issues so took it off, i also have original SLX wheels tyres on. so no  reason others could not get the same economy.

Lakes I really think your car was made on a Tuesday.

Monday = Getting over the weekend, ie not paying attention.
Tuesday = Over the weekend, feeling refreshed and entusiastic, paying attention to work at hand.
Wednesday = Hump day, needs a little something to get through the day. Not as enthusiatic as Tuesday.
Thursday = Not quite Friday (therefore weekend) so depressed not caring about work, waiting for Friday to come.
Friday = Thinking about whats happening on the weekend, don't care about work at all.

I think at best my car was made on a Wednesday, probably Thursday, then combined with my driving = 1000-1050 max per tank in Newcastle. It's getting worse with Summer ie A/C usage.

Hey Daniel, i've always thought all new cars were the same, but you are right about build and how the workers feel at the time of building, but the motor is different would depend on luck of the piston set and piston to bore clearances how well the rings real, how well the valves seal, if all the con rods are true and straight and so on, but even if its all close to ideal they are all mass production, so never 100% perfect .. then we have to take into account drivers weights, how many passengers how much weight you carry, also fuel weight like car heavier at the start of a full tank lighter at the end. and what rev you shift at what your driving style is like, i'm a faster style driver and watch traffic flow , i don't chop &change lanes but i get into the lanes that are moving and i watch how traffic is ahead look for problems ahead so i don't get held up, i don't brake hard , itry to drive smoothly. i think as cars get some miles up they improve economy but it's a very hard improvement to measure, i just notice its easier to get 1,000 1,1000 now than it was when new but if i work it out i'm still getting about same L/100K as new as when my car was new i drove very softly and got 1,300+ for a tank, since then its 1,000, 1,100 maybe 1,200 in country depends on how i drive if i'm loaded up, if there is hills so on, i think i could do the same in your car
