Title: GD aftermarket Head unit
Post by: Deadcpu on September 13, 2020, 20:39:31
Hello everybody.
I want to install an aftermarket head unit on my 2013 i30 that has the original one and need some info if anyone had done it before.
The head unit I got is this one:   :link: YUEHOO 7 Inch 2 DIN for Android 9.0 Car Stereo Radio 8 Core 4+32G Touch Screen 4G WIFI bluetooth FM AM RDS GPS Sale - Banggood Mobile (https://tinyurl.com/y3rktmpa)
I read that I need a can bus adapter for the steering wheel controls (accept reject mute and volume) to work.
I found this one that seems to be compatible with 2013 i30:

The head unit has key1 and key2 pins that I have to connect on the adapter
I also need an iso adapter from Hyundai to universal?
And what else do I need for it it order to work?
Thanks in advance guys.

Hey, did you figure out how to get it working? I am thinking of buying a similar head unit and am worried about the steering wheel controls as well.
