18 inch osaka rs5's other than that pretty standard, beefier rear sway bar and springs lightly reset, planning a killer audio install at some stage- going the 5.1 route again, just cant help but make it difficult on myself :-)

Yeah i'm happy with my choice of wheels, they really make the car, they change tint a bit in the light- brighter light makes them look almost chrome

I've started stockpiling some parts (another radio fascia, boot side trims etc) and so far have stripped the interior and added dynamat sound proofing to the entire floor.

Looking at alpine 502 dvd head unit, maybe the 355 theatre amp or use my 701 processor, focal speakers all round (including centre speakers where the centre top box goes) and some sort of custom sub enclosure in the rear, with the system being mainly discrete and not taking up too much room.  The biggest issue is having to cut the original fascia, hence buying a spare one to restore the car one day to original.

Lots of gear (read $$$$$$$) to buy before i start the serious install side of it though, probably late this year.

Hi Bobby,
seems that your rims are making a big bang

I do like whit but its a £$%$£^& to keep clean

Why? White color is considered as dust-resistant, esp. comparing to black.
The £$%$£^& is to keep it unscratched

Nice car mate.
The sound system sounds better than my home one (not that that's much chop either).
A write up and pics etc would be a good addition here - as there' a few here who would benefit from it.

Ha, my last system was better than my home system and i thought i had good home gear.  i ended up spending something like $8k in the last car but this one wont be so complicated (hopefully)

When i start doing it i'll take plenty of pics and post up info, first thing will be to sound proof the doors with the same gear i did the floor, a fair bit of road noise can be killed here plus it makes the doors more solid for decent door speakers.

As for the mod bug, yeah i get that from time to time, I'm 39 this year and i dont think its a maturity thing, its about wanting to use your skills to make something better, i bet your wife wont stop you from modifying the kitchen or other parts of the house that suit her ???  lol

Its made a noticable difference but these are very noisey tyres. I guess each pack weighs about 10kg?  Will also spray the wheel arches with bitumen at some stage.

Ha, well prob about 60kg more at least !! but the audio gear is lighter/smaller than the last car, the new Alpine PDX amsp are amazing for their size, they will fit under the spare wheel cover/rear floor
