[Surferdude]

The other day I realised something unusual.
As some of you know, I spent many years as a motor sport journalist and in that position, got to know a lot of drivers.
Recently (last year) I went out to the Leyburn Sprints on the Darling Downs and caught up with plenty of "old timers". Sorry guys. 
At one stage I was talking to two drivers, one retired (but a previous winner at Bathurst), the other sitting in his car (Trans Am) waiting for a run.

Both were named "John"

No big deal.

However, the one was John FRENCH.
The other John ENGLISH.

I literally known these guys since the mid 70's and never made the "nationality" connection before.
