Title: 2012 I30 GD - Crankshaft Position Sensor
Post by: Nuskvlct on September 04, 2019, 09:35:03
Hi all

I'm looking at changing my Chankshaft Position Sensor, as my car has a few starting and stalling issues and this could be the culprit.

Just wondering, is this a simple Disconnect - Unbolt & Remove job, and then Installation the reverse?

Anything special I need to know before I tackle this job?

Cheers

It should be, part of the harness may be anchored but it should be 10mm bolt removed form the sensor end, unclip the harness and disconnect the plug, install reverse. Only a drama if somehow the sensor has corroded in place but I think that's rare.
