Title: Another newbie from Country Victoria

Good evening all and thanks for the add to the forum.

Well, today I purchased my second i30 (the first being an Active X in 2015, which was traded for a Hilux). Today I picked up a 2016 (MY17) GD 5 Door Activ Auto in White in excellent/outstanding condition with 34k on the clock. It has been looked after with great care and I'm really proud to be back with this model. It feels like I never left.

There are a couple of small niggling "cosmetic" issues I have with it which were not deal breakers during the purchase however I'm hoping that I can solve these little issues with the help of this forum and share the results- both successes and failures (if any).

The steel rims need to go so I'm starting the search for some nice (genuine if possible) alloys.


Anyway, I look forward to participating in with other fellow i30 users.

I'm up near Carlsruhe in-between Woodend and Kyneton (and Lancefield for that matter).
