Actually, I would like the price of fuel to come down, particularly here in Tasmania (the most expensive Australian capital city for fuel), but I would really like to see the price of oil go up. It is currently on the way up, back above $29 per barrel. :fingers:

Thank's everyone, personaly I think it's low trying to limit terrorist finances.
But it's good in some ways, bad in others.
I think if they blew all the Oil well's in Middle East up. That would be the quickest way to cut there supply of $'s.
But USA don't want that. They make $ each way how it is now.
But just how is looks from the sideline.
Funny thing was, before school holidays started here in NSW
The local south coast prices of fuel like any regional area in AU were higher than Sydney prices but lowest price I saw before holidays was 5 cents higher than lowest price I saw in Sydney , then holidays come (still going ) and cheapest price on south coast for Diesel matchs cheapest price in Sydney, so seems City puts prices up for holidays not the country. I always thought everyone did it. But has came down in past week in Sydney so will see what is is down south when I get home.
Thanks again always good to compare.

Asda cuts diesel to 97.7 ppl

Were at 11.13 SEK/l (~1.85 AUD) for diesel. But the government just hiked the tax by .53sek at the start of January. Still, it topped out at 15 SEK last summer, so were still at something that must be close to a 5 year minimum.
-
It's 97.3 c for diesel here in our little town but go to 60 km still 112- 118 c still

  :goodjob:

Why is it though that increases and decreases in the actual pump price for any fuel do not match the real world price per barrel we are reported?
When it was at $130 per barrel we were paying around about £1.20-£1.30 / litre.
Now it is at $29 we are paying around £1.00 per litre.
Net effect is that as soon as it starts to increase value again the motorist will be stung as the increase will be applied in line with the increase / barrel but the decrease never is - the whole thing is a scam as per usual.
And why are Australia paying half the price the UK is for the same product?

'Cos we have further to go the reach our destinations. :D
Agree with your other remarks. :Dunno:

Yeah, but your roads mean you can do it in half the time, look at how long it takes for me to go less than 200 miles

Bit of a waste having a car like yours, doing a trip like that. Now on our Eyre highway, 146.6 kms until the next bend. :goodjob2:

Batemans Bay, 95 is $1.31 per litre. We have some of the most expensive fuel prices on the coast, probably because the rich Canberrans come over for weekends and holidays and fill up with ye olde go juice. :crazy2:
Good to see our UK friends are paying less i.e. 97p. When I was in UK, Sept/Oct was paying £1.15. :crazy1:
The more you drive the more you save. :happydance:
-
I've scored as low as $1.17 with a 4c voucher for e10 which is the cheapest I can remember down here for a long time. Surprised we are cheaper than Bateman's Bay! Not usually cheaper than anywhere but the Nullabor plain.
-
Diesel is slightly cheaper than petrol at most garages by me now.
Petrol 99.9ppl
Diesel 97.9ppl
-
1.07 in Newcastle. No complaints from me :goodjob:
-
Asda newcastle uk 97.9ppl
-
Morrisons, Malvern:
98.9p/litre Unleaded
96.9/litre Diesel
-
Pit Stop, Bolton (http://www.pitstop-overhulton.co.uk/) - £3.70
Oops, that's the price of a kebab (which I've just ordered)
-

That is the most expensive fuel I have ever seen. Even on the Barkly Highway at Barkly Homestead it was only $2.069 per litre!! :whistler:
Filled up on diesel yesterday for $1.209 per litre. Premium (98 octane) unleaded is still $1.379 per litre.
