After a few days tooling about northern NSW, covered about 700km-ish, overall average of 5.3 for the trip, best seen at any point was 4.8. Car was driven up hill and down dale, no special consideration to fuel economy. Engine now has about 5000km. Fairly satisfied with that as a real world result for back roads driving.

Acceleration onto the motorway is rather surprising. One needs to maintain an eye on the speedo as the speed builds quickly. Same deal for going up hills.
