No wonder GM wants to get rid of Opel/Vauxhall...  :scared:  :sweating:

"The PSA announcement comes a week after GM reported a loss of $257m from its European operations last year.
That was the 16th consecutive loss-making year for GM in Europe, bringing its cumulated losses on the continent since 2000 to more than $15bn."

Opel had in the early 00's big case of timing belt's snapping even before the 60.000 km interval which is even shorter interval than most other brands anyway. I think that cost them many costumors. Furthermore Opel is known, at least around here, for making "boring Grandpa" cars. I think the newer Opel's look nice but it will take time to get rid of that association.
