Title: Spark Plug Replacement 2.0L Petrol
Post by: the everyman on September 22, 2014, 11:49:17
Hey.
The car is coming up for a plug change. What's involved? I've changed a lot of spark plugs over the years but not in such a modern car. Can I do it myself? Any special tools needed?

You'll find that each plug has it's own power unit attached, controlled from the ECU, so no dizzy.

If you go to you tube and search for vids showing how this job is done then you can decide for yourself whether or not you have the ability to do it yourself.

Don't you just remove the plastic engine cover, pull the lead off then use a sparkie plug socket to remove?
