Hi all. I have just come across this site today. Had my auto i30 since 2013 and love it. I have to say it's the best car I have ever owned. Not had any trouble with it, all services have been general and without dramas. I have just started having trouble with radio and steering wheel controls but unfortunately the radio unit is now out of warranty and that's the problem. Oh well, that's the least of my problems though. Still love my car. I look forward to reading posts.

G'Day, Laine. :wttc:
The deeper you dig, the more you'll find here, and a lot of well-meaning and hopefully helpful posturing about your woes from the stalwarts.
Enjoy! :victory:

:welcome: Laine,
If you can't find anything on the site to help guide you with your problems feel free to post a thread in the appropriate problem section with your issues and we will try really hard to guide you with options to sort it/them. Just try and make the topic heading self explanatory so as many as possible who can help understand the issue/s.

Interesting. maybe start a thread on this fault. My first thoughts would be faulty clock spring in the steering wheel. I own FD series.

+1.
Does your radio work fine through its own panel controls?
Does moving the wheel cause odd radio behaviour?
Do the wheel controls fail to do what you can do on the radio's panel?
Does wheel position change how well the controls work?
I would rate 2 or 3 out of 4 pointing at the clock spring.
