Roof racks? C'mon guys.

I'm sure the post was to highlight the reference to BMW using our engines. I'd be interested in more information on that score.

Or Hyundai using BMW engines, like you I know nothing about it,I haven't been able to find any reference between the two motors and I spent a few hours today trying to find anything out about this on the net.

I would think it would be something that has come from a salemans over active imagination, either that or this one particular car has had a BMW engine placed in it.

Might be worth an e-mail to the dealer asking for clarification.

Ask the dealer why, if the engines are the same...

The BMW 1.6 diesel has a bore and stroke of 78.0 x 83.6 with a compression ratio of 16.5:1

The i30 diesel has a bore and stroke of 77.2 x 84.5 with a compression ratio of 17.3:1

I think the salesman who wrote that was bored and having a bit of a stroke actually.

Well, they are both kind of big, but not too big, have shiny bits and not so shiny bits. They each have a belt thingy on one end. Could almost be the same thing from a different angle on a very dark night at distance.

hmm I like the white one because it looks nice.. but the silver is also good. But the price of the car is too much to pay in once. but its seating capacity make it different from others. Thanks for sharing the photos. i like the post.

June is a good month to buy as it's the end of the financial year, with December the next best.
June would be the pick because you are still buying current year models.
