Ok. Thanks for those answers. I did think it must be something on the fuel side of things. Re the dpg regenerating. Should it do it that often. I don’t do much more than 500 miles a week and it seems to be doing it far more often than it should. I’ve driven other same model i30s and they didn’t do it. As for the ecu being up to date I don’t hold out much hope of ‘clown cars’ being able to sort that!!Many thanksTony

Mind you if someone was doing 500 miles a week in his diesel past my house, I might find some relief, like a shotgun,. Question: @Asterix or anyone ; Why would the car run rough when it regenerates ? The burn off is ex motor.
