Hello, Benjamin.
I don't have pictures, but from what I remember about the time I changed the EGR valve in my 1.6 crdi FD bluedrive, I removed the air filter box together with the intake hose that connects to the turbo, to have enough space to work.
The valve itself was held by 6 fasteners... The only thing that made the job difficult was the cramped space, but I could get it done with basic tools and a couple of scratches on my hands.
FYI, in my case, the EGR cooler was in a worse state (~90% blockage) than the valve. To remove it, I had to undo a couple of fasteners and disconnect the 2 coolant hoses. With a little care, I managed to lose only about 100 ml of coolant in the process.
Good luck!
