My sunroof has problems closing and I want to replace the engine for it. I've found the engine online ( part reference 3Q0212A0196 ) but I don't know how to install it. I've searched everywhere on how to find it online. I've even looked in the service manual. But nothing.

Does someone know how it's done? Please help!

I think the roof lining would have to drop down to gain access.

If you were to get a sunroof specialist to service it then it might be fine, there could be crap stuck in the runners preventing the motor closing freely
