Title: Rear demister button... not working ?

Just wanted to run this by you guys (gals) I have a 2008 Crdi i30 sx

When i hit the rear demister button it doesnt light when you 'depress' it.

I can however hear the relay clicking coming from the fuse box on driverside.

Fuse for this function is still okay (not burnt through) but Im not sure if its just the little light behind the button that has stopped working... any ideas ?

Post by: perakharimau on June 04, 2012, 13:45:54: Wow - super late ~~response~~ to the question - no the relay just clicks in the driver fuse box (although the fuse is not blown and is definately in the rear de-mist slot... it just wont stay on (e.g. button wont stick or light up when you press it)

Why didn't you just take it to the dealer for a warranty fix :confused:

Wrinkly chrome finish on passenger side interior handle and sticky solenoid in rear hatch lock :disapp:

Touch the rear window glass and you should feel a slight warmth

actually never thought that the relay clicking could have been turning the demister function on but just not displaying the light on the button... interesting proposal :evil: :cool: :whistler:
