The positive is that you spread the cost, and the only cost over the standard service costs is the admin fee (about £50 on a 4 year service plan).

Any reason not to go for it, if the car is still in warranty during that time and you don't want the faff of ensuring that a non-dealer services properly?

I went for it - it was very good value if you are going to get a dealer service anyway.   Its a contract with Hyndai not the dealer so you can have the services carried out at any dealership.
