Title: Hardrace FD rear camber kit
Post by: dauntless on July 06, 2018, 07:49:59
Hey everyone,

Does anyone have any experience with Hardrace adjustable rear camber arms for the FD?

I'm looking at getting these:

Can I use these alone, or would I also need to correct toe with these:

Thanks!

Never heard of Hardrace, see if Whiteline can do something for you or good local suspension shop can usually make up adjustable arms fairly easy.

Depending on the amount you're lowering there might be enough adjustment in the standard setup, if only 20mm drop Eibach kit you might be safe :undecided:

Thanks for that.

I don't really have any options near me for making one off suspension components, and Whiteline don't list anything.

I guess they're cheap enough that I could probably just give them a go.

What would be the advantage in fitting this setup? Is it just to compensate for when settings are altered by using lower springs?

Yes, I would think so.

Even with the standard suspension, the car appears to have excessive rear camber. Tyres are near new, so too early to tell how they're wearing.

Does anyone know the factory alignment specs?

I have been running the Shark racing adjustable lower control arms on my FD wagon for the last 3 years with no problems.

It looks identical to the links you posted.

I don't think you will need the toe adjustment as i didn't , i am running -1 deg camber and all other suspension settings near stock.
