The  display on my dashboard is playing up.

The "Low Washer Fluid" indicator is showing. I refilled and it is still showing.

Also of late the Average MPG is almost stuck at 38.4. No matter how hard I drive it moves at best to 38.3.

Is there a solution to these 2 issues?

Can you reset the MPG average and see how it goes then?

I noticed whith ignition on, opening the door makes the display change from "Low Washer Fluid" to "Door Open". Maybe a reset is whats needed.

If I disconnect the battery for 30 seconds when reconnecting will I need a code for the radio?

It will be a faulty sensor in the washer bottle. You can pull the inner wing liner back and disconnect the plug for the sensor, then short the two pins out on the plug. If the warning goes out then the sensor is faulty..

There is no radio code on standard Hyundai Radio’s

How exactly do I "......short the 2 pins out on the plug....." ? Do I bridge the 2 pins with a small screw driver?

Use a short piece of wire with either end having the copper exposed. Push each end of the wire into the respective contacts

Having searched in vain for a part number for the washer bottle level sensor, can this forum provide a part number or an aftermarket part provider?

Have searched UK wide for an online OEM Parts supplier and came up with nothing.

Is there an online OEM parts supplier in the UK?

Grateful for some recommendations.

Try a wreckers/breakers yard, probably get the bottle - pump and sensor for the price of new sensor.

If only wanting the sensor...have you enquired about the cost if sourced through your local Hyundai service centre

I think I would prefer a new part. TBH my days of going to breaker yards are all behind me. In fact these days I wouldnt know where to go.....the yards I used are all long gone and the land now have supermarkets on them

I understand the cost of a new OEM part is around 25-35 GBP

I had hoped to find an online supplier, order online and await delivery.

Over here in Oz our dealers at still open for parts. If it is the same over there and you don't want to go out, you could ring them and pay by CC then get them to post it to you.
