Title: Depin of headlight connector 2019 PD Go.
Post by: Godders on January 22, 2022, 11:45:03
Trying to depin the 2 connectors for H7 globes as wanting to replace with LED bulbs.

Having a hard time to do this and it should be quite simple. Any advice on how to do it in this car would be appreciated.

What brand LEDs are you using? I have this plugged into my LEDs.

Cherry tuning ones .. has its own adaptor. Instructions say to depin this but just can't get this out and really don't want to cut the wires lol

I would just plug it in how it is and put it all inside the headlight so the dust cover goes back on. If its difficult to depin wont be worth breaking it just for some bulbs.

Pins like that always have a tab inside that hooks into the connector. You need either a thickish needle or a very small flat screwdriver to fish for the tab and press it. You can then remove the connector while holding the tab. Might need a torch to see which side the tab is on.
