As much as it pains me to say, being Victorian and all, I much prefer XXXX Gold to VB.  A much easier drinking beer (and it doesn't make you go silly or bloat you), IMO.

Now, we must all agree, that being "Most popular" doesn't mean "Best tasting".  That honour, me being an honoury Tasmanian and all, would go to James Boags Premium.

Well said Jamie.. Boags is good.. and Cascade is even better... :goodjob:

Jamie and I were discussing this the other day when we had morning tea together  :happydance:

Boags is a Northern Tasmanian Beer and Cascade is from the South of the State.  A decade or two ago it was frowned upon for Northerners to drink Cascade and Southerners to drink Boags but not so much these days for some reason

The North/ South divide seems to have mellowed somewhat  :goodjob:

Isn't it funny how states and areas have these divides.
The Perth metropolitan area has "northside" & "southside" divided by the Swan River and it's amazing how seriously some people take it. It's only a river but it certainly brings forth some rivalry.
