Hello Guys!
Need some help, I found maker of our radios, maybe he can provide us with firmware update. The only thing I need is "model numer" of our audio system (big word for that kind of radio )
I don't have any photos of back side of my radio, where the label with that model number can be. Maybe you can help me with this.

Think you are refering to the firmware on it already? not sure myself, i know there is a thread telling you to find out by pressing a combination of buttons on the stereo

From the sound of the product model number, I think that your product was the original radio fitted in the car by the car manufacturer. For this reason Continental is unable to help you as we can only provide information for aftermarket products.
Seeing as you have already contacted your dealer, we reccomend that you contact the car manufacturer directly.

why exactly are you wanting to update the firmware?

No specific reason.
But some people when listening to the radio, have name of radio stations on their lists, I have only radio frequency.

Ive seen that over here on some models, was considering getting it for the mothers car (ive aftermarket in mine) but cant see the big advantage may be model number dependant. i.e 2011 gets it. So saying, not all new models have it that ive seen.
On your next service ask if there are any updates available for the stereo

I don't have any next services planned (i'm after warranty ), but from what people said, they don't have possibility to make any upgrades, if something is wrong with the radio, they put new one(with new F/W) instead.

I assume you had one of the first i30's out? or do you not get 5 year warranty on it? if your that interested in one, then eBay?
