Title: Petrol Consumption computer not correct?
Post by: ads1212 on March 23, 2018, 00:25:25
Hi. My petrol 2016 i30 calculation of how many kilometres I should get on a full tank is constantly incorrect. When I fill up (I am driving normally in and around town mostly), the trip computer says I have a range of approximately 460 km. I never usually go for more than around 300 km per tank of unleaded fuel before needing to refill. This is a big anomaly. Is this normal? :victory:

Wow that is scary low mileage you are getting out of a tank, even with lots of town driving.  Most members complain about the computer under-reading. For example, members with the diesel who quite often get up to 1000 kilometres out of a tank, report the trip pc predicting less than 800. :undecided:

There is something definitely wrong if you’re only getting 300km out of a tank of fuel
