Title: Using Phone While Driving to Watch Football
Post by: AlanHo on July 11, 2017, 12:55:43
UK Penalties for using a mobile in a car.

You get 6 penalty points and a £200 fine if you use a hand-held phone.

You can also be taken to court where you can:
•be banned from driving or riding
•get a maximum fine of £1,000 (£2,500 if you’re driving a lorry or bus)

If you passed your driving test in the last 2 years, you’ll lose your licence.

But this guy gets let off with a warning - the law is an ass

I suppose they had to prove he had been holding the phone before it was placed in the holder :disapp:

You can see him swerving all over the road well before the phone was placed in the holder.

If they could not nick him for the phone use they should have nailed him for careless driving.

I think laws need to be introduced to ban video on stereos and phones while driving as well :crazy1: :phone1:
