If you are in Australia and you use Ebay and you need anything at all. Search it on EBAY and find the cheapest price. Your basket has to add up to atleast $75. When you get to the checkout put in Party18 (it's EBAY's 18th Birthday today) and you get a further 18% off.
BUT it's only from 6PM to 10PM AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time) :cool:

I guess the next big one will be 21st Birthday. 21% would be good.. I might be due for a new 2 in 1 laptop by then... :happydance:

I like shops too John, but unfortunately I can get most things cheaper via Ebay including postage (even without an extra discount) than I can get locally.
There is a bigger range and even from the UK it sometimes only takes a week. For example the Globes that I got for $63 would have been at least $100 from Supercheap. I do buy a fair bit from them as they are not far away, but they didn't even have the deluxe globes I got in stock.
I've bought about 300 things off ebay in the last 10 years. Things like 2nd had books for Trish that we can't find locally and model train stuff.. etc. Only been ripped off twice in that time and once I was reimbursed (so only out of pocket about $50, saved thousands!)

I love ebay, I can get genuine Hyundai filters, mobil one oil and the K and A filters from other sources at cheaper prices.
All of my dealings have been positive, the only time something arrived broken, it was refunded in a couple of days. As an added bonus I don't need to keep receipts for warranty etc as Ebay and Paypal do it for me.
It also gives little guys the chance to compete against the big blokes.
I suspect from previous dealings when there is a event like this it is funded from ebay/paypal with the retailers getting the full amount.
