I used the eibach prokit on mine. I lowered the ride height by about an inch. I was expecting it to be lower but atleast i don't scrape the bumper when driving up ramps. Not sure about H&R though. Here is a picture of my car after installing the kit

Thanks for your response. In my research I saw your topic before and after the eibach. Your customization was very good, black and red combination is good.
ps: What model and brand of these wheels?
Thanks

Colour match looks good :goodjob2:

Its a 17 inch advan rs replica

Your car looks awesome! :goodjob:
How has lowering your ride height affected your warranty? Do you still have a warranty? Over here the dealers tell me that lowering ride height = void warranty :(

I don't think they can do that Hitman..if there is a problem with the suspension they may be able to dispute the claim but if something goes wrong with the brakes or engine or paint or trim can't see how they can blame the lowered suspension for that!
-
That was my argument as well Dazz. So I called up the Warranty dept and the guy there gave me the same story. So now i'm totally unsure what to do.
-
Similar thoughts to dazz. I would expect that they would only void warranty related to suspension.

Nice, but don't have this wheels in Brazil =[

ja, nooit!!
what happens if you put some lekker fat tekkies on it? total void of the warranty?

Nice SA accent Agent :)
Other mags and tyres aren't a problem. You can go up to 2 sizes larger than your current wheel size... As long as you go to to one of their approved tyre dealers and pick from their list of Hyundai approved wheels...
Apparently the lowering Warranty rule was given to Hyundai SA directly from Hyundai Korea :wtf:

Hi M8
I think you need to reduce them to about 600 or 800 pixels wide and then post the image links :undecided:
-
Here you go Dazz

You are a good fella Hitman.. :thanks: Are they just specific to South Africa or worldwide I wonder? (Some nice styles there) :goodjob2: :goodjob:
-
I'm not too sure. As far as I know TSW is a local brand here... Or it's under a different name overseas
-
I like all the styles with 8 or more spokes :goodjob:
-
For the guys with springs, can you post up your part number and year of the vehicle?
None of the American sites offer springs for the elantra touring and I am having a hard time finding the correct part numbers.
Thanks

I used Spax springs in my car, and they are great. www.silverstonetuning.com (http://www.silverstonetuning.com) i think is the company, and they are cheaper than the more expensive brands, however just as great a quality, over here in the UK Spax are a very reputable brand.
We hint, when i lowered the back, i took the rubber bump stop at the bottom to help it sit a few mm lower :P makes a good differance

I would just make sure to get progressive spring rates for ride quality
If I remember well eibach are progressive and HR are not
