Old Picanto, new Picanto, sporty Picanto... it's still a Picanto. Ask my sister what her thoughts are of the Kia Picanto (their second/backup car); they don't drive it at all, if driving is what you call it

I am guessing the old Picanto shared it's underpinnings with the Amica/Atoz which would have been very much old skool Hyundai.

Is the new Picanto not shared with the i10 and should therefore, in theory, be a much better motor than it's predecessor??

Doesn't stop it being fugly like
