Title: Lions on the bonnet of your jeep
Post by: eye30 on August 17, 2011, 11:24:09
This is the Werribee Open Range Zoo in Victoria , Australia and only the hood of the car is outside the glass cage with lions.
The rest of the car is on the inside. Very interesting way of interacting with the lions.
I wonder how often they have to clean the seats?...

and the guy who took the photo.... oh that's right, he's on the bonnet/hood of the jeep...   AAAaaaaaaggghhhh not sure I likey, in fact I don't likey zoo's at all.

I was very, very early for a managers meeting at a Blackpool Hospital bout eighteen months ago and decided to kill the time by stolling round Blackpool zoo...  I thought it was tragic. I stood watching one of the elephants swaying, my understaning is that swaying is a real sign of boredam.  A young women with toddlers came along and she opened up a convo with me to the effect that it was such a shame to see such a magnifient animal brought to this pathetic state.  We being the onlyl people there at that time of the morning we walked round together, very nice....

OK little moan over, for now....   :goodjob: :goodjob: :goodjob:

Me too Rusty and she was a bit of a looker.  I was in the old business suit with the grey hair and all, so I guess she felt safe.  Thankfully she couldn't read my mind....   It did make for a VERY pleasant hour or so tho and I was well flattered that she was so nice, having said that, the Zoo was empty so there was no compition

To answer the question, no....    No point really the Doc won't give me any more Viarga as he says it'd kill me with the heart drugs I am on <sigh> there must be worse ways to be switched off tho..

Poor little bugger is probably traumatised for life, thinking he's gonna end up being the next snack........
