Don't know whether this should be here or in the Plane bit - virtuual view point.
An RAF Red Arrows pilot has died when his plane crashed following a display at the Bournemouth Air Festival in Dorset.

Indeed, terrible news, the pilot showed absolute selfless heroism in not ejecting to safety in the knowledge that his stricken craft would have crashed into a built up area, he stuck with her and saved a scene of devastation.

I wonder what happened to cause that? :disapp: .. the news over here was dominated (on the ABC anyway) this weekend by the death of 3 guys from one of their highly respected news crews who went down in a helicopter crash in the out back...
