The Light Cycle.

Description

This is the illuminated, street-legal motorcycle inspired by the computer animated cycle from the 2010 film Tron: Legacy.

Available now from Hammacher.com (http://beta.hammacher.com/Product/Default.aspx?promo=search&sku=11862) for just $55,000  :winker:

Quote
It is powered by a fuel-injected Suzuki 996cc, 4-stroke engine. Riders lay at a near-horizontal position astride the padded leather seat, with feet on foot pegs that control its 6-speed constant mesh manual transmission and hands on the handlebars for throttle and braking.

Slow drivebys .. yeah right  ..

Wonder who will be the first idiot to drive one flat out and end up as a fence post  :whistler:

Looks great at night as per the video in that link .. but also looks like a handful to ride (very cumbersome)

It appears to be barely rideable and what was with the sound of it puttering along the street? It sounded like a chainsaw or whipper Snipper!

< with feet on foot pegs that control its 6-speed constant mesh manual transmission and hands on the handlebars for throttle and braking.

Doesn't appear to have a brake lever on the handlebar, only a clutch, so not sure how that works unless the brakes are applied when you close the throttle....  :undecided:

Anyhow, I think I'll pass.....
