The taxi drivers in Russia do have some of this installed on their cars, as to me, I'm happy with the standard one.

Hi Belyaev... Welcome to another Russian... :goodjob:

Just remembered a speech of our lecturer at the university, he told that the best antenna is a spiral antenna and the more turns it contains the better.

Привет.
На русских форумах по i30 бываешь? Возможно там так же дадут ответ.

hmmm Latin letters CB associate with circuit-breaker, which may be pulled in the cockpit to reset the system. :D

That's definitely a CB (Citizens Band) aerial, not a radio aerial

yes it is mounting this antenna I was wondering can anyone knows how this is fixed in position.

As this topic has wandered away from the original "sharkfin antenna" thread, I'll create a new one so it looks better :)

So, it would be nice if any one can tell where the antenna bracket can be bought.
It seems from the posted photos as it can be fixed to one of four railing joint points, so it makes the bracket an unusual device, which hardly can be found in a neighbor shop or even in the internet (have checked this myself).
I think our Korean friends may shed a light on this matter and even ship one of this to Belyaev after the item was paid.

It seems to be attached to the rear roof rack mounting point. If so, I would imagine anyone with a modicum of ability to work with their hands could fashion the bracket out of a piece of stainless steel. Hole in the bottom to screw into roof rack point. And hole in the top to screw in an aerial of your choice.

Belyaev, a lot of the car clubs (of all different models) use the CBs here in Korea. I have never used one, or paid much attention to them up close. I will look while I am out this weekend for any of the brackets. Hopefully I can help, but like I said, I don't know much about it.
