I think we are supposed to get it before Christmas in OZ.
Looks good in that colour (It is definitely growing on me)
No cruise in the relatively well speced and expensive base model seems to be a mistake :disapp:
The economy of the 1.6 ltr petrol GDi engine is impressive :goodjob:

I like it a lot! I also think the price point is very competitive, should put pressure on the Megane coupe and VW Scirroco :goodjob:

If we are talking about the same Megane and Scirroco I very much doubt a 1.6 NA engine is going to keep up well with 2.0 turbo engines!.
IF the Veloster gets a Turbo it might get a little closer.
In Aus I can see this being targetted at P platers who aren't allowed to drive Turbo engines.

Trouble may be the seating arrangement 2+1.
Not much room for passengers 3 and 4

Lol, yes I should have been more specific, in NSW (I'm not sure about others states, I know some do, some don't) P Platers aren't allowed to drive PETROL turbo vehicles. Even though there are some turbo petrols that are safer than better performing, less safety feature equipped NA engine vehicles..........

Yes, the whole restricted car list is a joke, the sooner they swap to a power to weight ratio, the better....Not that I'm a big fan of that either, but that's another story... :)
