My wifes car is a 2006 Honda Accord VTi 2.4L auto. Last Saturday we did a trip from Townsville to Port Douglas and back, a trip of around 950Klms.
I did all the driving and it was the first long drive we have done in the car since we bought it 4 months ago and what a lovely car it is to drive.
But the fuel consumption was what surprised me.. The average for the trip was: 7.19L/100 or 13.91KM/L or 39.29MPG.
The best figures where.. 14.90L/100 or 6.71KM/L or 42.10MPG.

I assume this is imperial MPG?
Isn't 14.9L/100KM roughly 19 imperial gallons? 42.10 impg would be 6.7L/100KM
I'm American so I'm just interested :happydance:
