Hi, my 2.0L manual, petrol i30 is only about 2 months old and dad noticed the temperature gauge was a little bit up, anyone on here know where the needle should sit on the gauge, mine is just under half way
-
After warm-up, my temperature gauge is always just below the half-way mark, whether stuck in traffic or cruising along.
-
Welcome to the forum, Georga... :goodjob:
Mine also sits just below the halfway mark, but I have a diesel engine in mine.... :D
-
Mine's petrol and sits just below the halfway mark. Never seen it anywhere else in two years.
Welcome to the club.

Georga, welcome to the club. I have the same comment as the other posts. Just below half way come rain, hail or shine.
By the way, where are you from?
-
On my 1.6 crdi the needle sits just to the left of the 90 c so I say about 85 c
-
my scangauge says 84c 95% of the time,it may get up to 95c on a 40c temp day.

But isn't a TSB with the exterior temperature sensor, is posted somewhere on the forum....

Not sure about a TSB but I believe it is in front of the radiator near the horn?
But that is a different temperature than what this thread is about...
