I was going to suggest that, but I've trodden on too many toes today, so I let it go.

Do not panic.
Accim may be in a place with no internet connection, or, most probably, have no time for entering the internet as he could go countryside with his friends to celebrate the date and stay there for the whole weekend.

hmm, when you posted this message, it was 16:01 Moscow time, so 15 or 14 o'clock in Accim's time zone

Hello!
I'm sorry for a late reply, I was away for two days and wasn't able to access the internet.
Thank you all very much, and I was really surprised when I checked the PM and the forum few hours ago.
Once again, thank you and I would love to invite you all for a piece of cake..maybe a virtual one at least

Mine is the lowest plate with all of those cakes on it

Wow that is a neat cake accim... I would soon put the 2 KG back on I have lost in the last two weeks
Glad you liked the thread :happydance:

accim
Great cake, yes I'll take JUST ONE of the little chocolate ones please. Next time you disappear, better tell Dazz, he was getting concerned.
Dazz
2kgs, well done. At our ages, they go on easily but they're hard to get off. (kgs that is) :goodjob2:

Well done Dazz!! You're choosing the wrong time of year to lose the weight though, much easier when there aren't Christmas treats (or Accim's cake) around. I too have attempted to lose some weight over the last month (after a "lifestyle" chat from the Doc). So far down 4kg (at the same rate as Dazz 1kg/wk). I'll race you Dazz, how much are you aiming to lose? I want to lose another 11kg.
-
Is it me, or did it just get fatter in here :happydance:
-
fatboy
What method are you using. I lost a stack a few years ago. Some has come back, but my family said I was too thin b4. :)
-
84,
I'm trying to use the easy method (ie. energy in is less than energy out). So I have changed my diet and I am exercising more (riding to work when I can, more walks with the dog, etc). Seems to be working so far. I too lost a lot when I was at sea (different routines) as I was running a lot, although I don't think my knees could handle that any more.
-
I find the "soup diet" is a good kickstart to losing weight.
I do it for a week and usually lose around 6 kg's. More importantly, it puts me in the right frame of mind to eat more healthily after the week is over..... :D
Shame it doesn't last..... :-[

I'll just lick the plate when its empty, less fattening. :whistler:

Hmmm?
Can I be the first to ask what other miracles you can do for us?
after walking on water that is ;)

I wasn't walking on it. I'm a Naval Aviator, therefore I was able to run!! :whistler:
Most Naval ships have a small gym on board, and I was able to use the treadmill to run on (or around the flight deck if the weather was suitable).
-
I was being facetious.
Didn't want to upset you in case you called down a thunderbolt from somewhere.
As I write this, there's one hell of a thunderstorm overhead. :scared:

You're so lucky, we've had storms in our state for the last 2 weeks. Do you think any would come our way, forget it. We never have any excitement like that. :(

Thanks 84 & Slim.. I'm using diet shakes to replace lunch (got a heap of Amcal ones on a half price special ) Using my Elliptical strider most days. Eating less Bread and Pasta and not having desserts ... :winker:

Those elliptical trainers are excellent, great low impact workout. Just try going backwards on it for about five minutes, get off and try and walk normally, I dare you, no, I double dare you. In fact, record it and send it off to "Funniest Home Videos".
Yep, I too have cut down on the pasta, spuds and bread. But don't do it Dazz, think of all the workers in the dessert shops!! I have, I hope they appreciate what I am doing for them.
-
Our elliptical strider is only a cheapie but works well (I'll have to try it backwards) My fit brother suggested that is good exercise too.. :goodjob:
Sorry for the off topic accim :-[
