As Chrome overtook Firefox last week as No 2 browser I reinstalled it and gave it a real good try, but there are a few important things it still cannot do (like executing php scripts within a tab) so I reverted to my trusty Firefox.
I was just wondering what the spread of browser usage is like amongst the members

Safari on the Mac. Chrome on the PC. IE at work (I have no choice there).
-
Firefox, gave IE the heave ho ages ago, never been happier. :goodjob:
-
I use IE9 I didn't know there was an IE10..
-

I'm still using IE 8.0.....
And I'm not in a rush to update to IE 9, I figure others can iron out the bugs......
Have tried Firefox and Google Chrome but really can't see the point in changing to either one of them permanently as Internet Explorer does what I want and at the end of the day it's just one less program I need to install after reformatting my pooter.
-
we tried google chrome a while back,it wreaked havoc with the computer so sue uninstalled it.
-
I voted for Opera, although I typically run two browsers at the time: Opera and Chrome.
By the way Comodo Dragon browser seems to me to work quite fast.
-
Chome for me, was using firefox for years, when it originaly came out, then it stopped allowing me to open tabs, and always takes ages to load, started on chrome, and really satisfied now :)

I am having a few hiccups with the solid state drives in my Laptop and our main computer so like Rusty I'm trying to keep things as simple as possible at the moment... :whistler:

I use Mozilla Firefox on my PC (Win XP), but Google Chrome on my work PC (Win 7), becuase Firefox keeps freezing on W7. Don't know why.. I just know that when that happens, I have to "end" the plugin-container.exe to quit the Firefox and then restart it again.
-
Must be a W7 thing, couldn't be Firefox. :whistler:
-
I'm using Firefox - was on XP and now on W7 with no problems.
It doesn't crash or freeze or slow up.......................... I wish I hadn't said that. :-[
