Hi everyone. My name is Shane and I live in a suburb of Lake Macquarie in NSW, Australia called Cameron Park. I work for Australia Post and I am 38 years old, married with 2 children and a step son. In August 2011, I decided to trade in my 1997 Hyundai Sonata GLE and bought a Hyundai i30 SLX CRDi 6spd manual (the first of the new 6 speeds, or so I was told by my dealer (maybe through his car yard)). I am absolutely loving my new car and being the first diesel I have owned, I am very impressed with the economy and power it has considering I also own a V8. As you can see, my car is my profile picture. What else can I tell you about myself?? Feel free to ask and I will try to answer. I am a friendly guy that likes to have a chat and meet new friends. I am also on facebook. Thank you for allowing me to join the i30 Club.

First off, look, don't worry bout living there, someone has too and we are a very tolerant lot here  :rofl:

And, as it Christmas we'll overlook the fact that you work for the post office.

G'day Shane,

I traded in my V8 Commodore for a i30 SLX CRDi earlier this year, and I haven't looked back.  I only got the five speed but I am still extremely happy with it.  I also have two kids and the Minister for War and Finance and I can all fit in her in comfort.
