Absolutely well worth the wait davet. Great pics

Just found that google street view even extends to a tiny NSW north coast village. Astounded. Here is my house.

Nice i30 Davet,
I bet you are pleased after all that time. We still have our loaner i30SX Crdi . We have called it Claytons (The i30 you have when you haven't got your own i30 - still a nice car by the way) and are waiting for the word about ours. Very happy with response from our dealer and can't be far away now.

You bet I'm pleased after all of the wait! Was certainly worth it - the diesel torque makes it such a great drive.

The door protectors set it off nicely, black on white - cool.
-
Looks Fantastic Dave.
The door moulds look brilliant.
Are they genuine? They really suit the vehicle.
-
yes the door moulds are right out of the Hyundai accessories catalog. First one I've seen tho'..
-
Good looking beast mate! Jealous of your location dude - -love the Coffs Coast
-
Nice pics mate!

Hopefully this means mine should be here soon.
I think we've been both waiting for around 4-5 months.
-
yeah coffs coast is great (tho cold and wet today) - some say that it's the best climate in Oz (27 degrees summer, 19 degrees winter - why we moved from Canberra :D )). Tomorrow it has the 1000K service and then I'm off to Sydney and the south coast for a few days - hopefully get her well run in.
I am really pleased with the Hyundai side protection mouldings. I think it would look even better if there was an option for black detailing of the bumpers such as my amateur artistic projection below - anyone know if such a thing is available?

Yes in a fashion...
Here's some inspiration... Probably need to go to Korean site to get these parts though (link to suppliers somewhere on the site)

The bumper protectors are available as an option from Hyundai UK, my one has them fitted as per the example Darryl has posted.
Here is my one

Presume that means Hyundai (name your area here) can get them for you :?:
Cheers
Brian
PS - Not usually into white but I have to say the i30 looks pretty damned good in it!
-
Looks good white 8-)
-
Hey bumpkin/dazza - yes that's just what I'm thinking of. Unfortunately not on the Hy Australia option list, but at least gives me something to go looking for.
Hemmi, yes I was going to get tints, but may wait a bit given the GFM (global financial meltdown). I reckon with the tints and Bumpkins bumper highlights the car will look even better.
White may be a bit boring but is practical for Oz summer climate (plus saves on cost of metallic paint..)

Hi Dave
Here is the link to Hyundai UK's accessories with the bumper corner part numbers

Thanks Bumpkin, interesting that the UK side protectors appear to be a completely different design to the one sold by Hyundai in Australia
