A quick way of converting fuel economy data is as follows
(For UK gallons)
L/100 Km = 282.5 divided by mpg
mpg = 282.5 divided by L/100 Km
To convert miles into kilometers - multiply miles by 1.61
To convert kilometers into miles - multiply Kilometers by 0.62
To convert litres to UK gallons - muliply litres by 0.22
To convert gallons to litres - multiply gallons by 4.55
Alternatively open this website and use the conversion there :-

Years ago, working with surveyors, we had official conversion booklets with many figures for distance, volume etc. Two I committed to memory were,
Kms to Miles (statute) / 1.609344
Litres to Imp Galls / 4.546086865
They're firmly embedded in my memory & used to this day.

It's actually not that bad, it's credit card size when folded, and being solar powered I haven't had to replace batteries. :D
