hello all, thought i'd introduce myself, names Aaron but can call me paps for short ;) i recently bought my first car which is an i30, absolutely love it!! and i'd thought i'd join to get a real feeling of being an i30 owner :P i'll post some pics of my little beast very soon, im so excited for tuesday (getting it new 18'' rims and lowering it just a little :D) if you guys want i'll post some pics of the rims up soon :D Peace out!!

Welcome Aaron.. congrats great car for a 21 y/o. We'd love to see the rims :happydance: (they will come up better on here if you post them via a hosting site as per the Welcome section tutorial) :winker:

yep cant wait to get em on!!! still not to sure if i should lower it as well, if im not careful while i reverse out of the driveway underneath the front bumper scrapes, only reason im holding back on the lowering  :confused:

If it were me I'd just put the wheels on and see how she looks and feels (you can always lower it later if you want to)

I personally think it will be firm enough with the new lower profile wheels. :cool:

Your system seems complicated
In Russia a driver who has just received the first driving licence is advised to stick a special sign on car's back and keep it there for the next three years.
Here it is:

It is not an obligation though.
A permission to drive a vehicle is given to anyone who has attained 18 years old and successfully completed driving course and passed the exams in Russia, whereas having reached 16 years old one may complete a study at driving school and pass the driving exams
