Hey, I have just bought a 2011 i30 sportswagon.
It will be replacing a 1980 Mazda 323 wagon. I have had a few vehicles in my time but this Mazda wagon has been the best car I've ever owned. So the i30 has big shoes to fill. I now own 2 Hyundais as I got a 1996 excel when my father passed early last year. Great little car, he bought it new and it has only done 89 000kms.
I had no hesitation in buying this neat little wagon, Hyundai are making some very nice cars these days. It is second hand but only done 10 000kms.
This is a grouse forum.
Catch you all later.

Welcome Puss..
Now you've started something :whistler: I can't think of another Aussie member on here with a current model CW sportswagon  So you will have to show us your new wheels and tell us all about it.. (Please)
It is best to post your pix via a third party host (as per the welcome thread tutorial) :happydance:

Thanks for the welcome.
The wagon is sweet! I was looking for a car for ages and tried all sorts of vehicles, including a Captiva, Sorrento, X5(2nd hand), a few other Hyundai models, and a few Subarus. All good vehicles. I keep going back to small wagons, including some nice 320is. I just liked the sportswagon. Couldn't find a new on, but with only 10000kms it is close. Great fuel economy, nice seats. Got it in Essendon. Getting some extras for it including roof racks, got to my surfboards around.
It is grey in colour and I am really enjoying it so far.

I had to google that in "strine mode" (never heard the word used that way before :-[)
Thanks anyway, and as they would say in Blighty... "Up The Lakes Entrance JSC" :winker:

Well done Puss!!, that seems like a "grouse" score!!!
I have been looking at changing from the CW auto to a 6 speed manual, but the roughly $10K changeover has put me off. $10K buys a lot of diesel and a few extras to boot...so we will bide our time for now.
Just about to fit some new wheels and rubber, do a bit to the suspension and maybe a CAI modifiaction.... will keep Y'all posted. :)
Maeanwhile, lets see them pics!!!

Welcome Puss.
You'll find you can fit even longboards inside your car if you don't have passengers.
But the racks are handy for the wife to sit on. :happydance:

It sure is. I couldn't find a new sportswagon. My wife and I got to stay at the Windsor on our whirlwind trip to the big smoke. Because we arrived later and the tennis was on, our room was upgraded, due to being over sold, to the Queen Victoria Suit. Some people must have some money..... What a room, it was nearly bigger than my house and that is Fair Dinkum.
Drove the car back to Lakes the next day.

You find surf around Lakes Entrance?
-
The surf here is poor most of the time. Not like the Sunshine Coast. I used to live in Brisvagas in the 90's and spent a fir bit of the time travelling up and down the coast chasing waves. You live in a great spot, mate.
