Especially because of those alloy wheels.
I liked them that much I have put some on my SLX CRDi diesel.
And it's a white one too........the best colour naturally!!

I have the same alloys as you, but am having them replaced in 10 days time as the chrome inserts have pitted and Hy have agreed that it's unexpected.

In regards to tint, it shouldn't cost too much. I dont think you will need to win Lotto, but I hope you do. Just dont forget all your good buddies here if you do become a overnight millionair. :lol:
Tint should only set you back around $220. Dont get it through your dealer, They will add a big mark up. Source it direct from the installer. Just make sure they are reputable and offer a life time warranty on their product.

Well, I'll probably be seeing your i30 around then. You live just down the road from me. Um - Blacktown will do whatever darkness you want, but remember 35% is the 'legal' opacity. There's also a new tint just come out called "Omega" which is supposed to not interfere with your GPS/SatNav like the metalised ones can/might (but it's new, so it's more expensive). BTW - they look very black, not silver at all.

I was a bit sad I didn't go darker, but I'm very happy with the quality also. Solartint Blackdown do a fantastic job, I reckon.
