I once got 879.8 miles out of a brimmed tank after which I squeezed in 60.5 litres. Has anyone gone further or fitted in more?
-
That's 1415 km on 1 tank, nice  and an average of 23,39 km/L (4,28L/100)
Did you just idle along until the tank was empty..?

I am surprised you managed to squeeze so much in the tank - the most I have ever managed after running with the low level warning light on until my nerves got the better of me - was 55.04 litres - and some of that spilled over and onto the floor.
I am also envious that you managed to get 55 mpg (4.3 L/100K) - for me to get anywhere near that I would need to cruise on a flat motorway at a constant 65 mph for 880 miles non - stop with a tail wind and no passengers.
Does your car have vinyl stripes by the way?....... :whistler:

I'm sure he ran the last mile on the fumes..

There are two or 3 Aussie member on here/or have been on here in the past who have approached or broken the 1400km barrier (Lakes I think) , Ouri30 and maybe Thumper?
-
If I could crack the 5,0L/100 barrier I would be happy.. :happydance:

The new i40 Diesel Manual has similar economy to the i30 with a larger 70ltr tank I think so they advertise up to 1400kms to a tank (on these figues some of our members living in really flat country would probably get up to 1800kms

The most I have ever put in my i30 CW is 56.7ltrs. Full to the top of the filler spout.
