The dealer mounted this sticker in the rear window when I bought the car.
I hate stickers on my car, and my problem is that it is mounted on the inside of the window, with the glue on the heatthreads.
Is it possible to remove the sticker without damaging the heatthreads..

warm it up with a hair dryer,it should peel off easily. wipe over where it was with some methylated spirit on a rag to remove any glue residue.
-
Thanks.
I would just hate to damage the two bottom threads as the wiperblade is located there.
I will try to remove it as you described.
-
Yeah should be ok doing it that way... Just don't use a scraper (they are what does the damage) :undecided:

Eucalyptus oil works wonders on the glue too.

There had been no any sticker of Hyundai when I acquired my i30, except for square shape one with Hyundai's logo stuck to the wind screen.

For some reason many dealers put their advertising stickers all over the cars they sell. :disapp: I hate it.
I even told the dealer not to mount them. :disapp:
When I had the car treated with antirust sealing - is that the right word.?? - ( Pava/Mercasol/Dinitrol ) I also told them not to mount any stickers. No problem, they said. But when I went to get my car, there was a sticker mounted anyway... GGGRRR

ours just install the plate's frames with their logos inscribed on them
-
Ours put their logos on the plates themselves as well as on the windows. I hate dealer stickers, don't mind the brand ones ie the Hyundai Triple Care didn't bother me, but it had to be removed on the orders of the boss............Shambles that is

Eucalyptus oil is like a wonder liquid - it's amazing what it cleans :)
I parked my car in the car park of our major shopping centre and when I cam out some mud-sucking pond dweller had decided to draw a particular part of the male anotomy on the paint of my i30 with permanent marker.
I was less than impressed and had he still been there he would have been missing the relevant parts himself.
But eucalyptus oil removed it without a trace :D

I don't mind the frames with their names on, the frames are there anyway, but of course it would look nicer with the i30ownersclub.com on the frame. :goodjob:

It comes from Australian Eucalyptus trees where Koalas like to live (& eat) :)

Do you have Koalas?

We have a eucalyptus tree in our garden - but it lost a lot of branches after the savage winter last year.

Koalas probably snapped them off. They like eucalyptus.
-
The tree is currently looking very "bear" - so you just might have a point. I can "bear"ly see it for snow at present.
-
This is how we get it
