Title: My new work vehicle
Post by: FatBoy on February 10, 2012, 11:30:10

I've stepped down in performance.

Down to 270 shp, from 3600 shp.

This one uses a lot less fuel too, and a lot of fun!!

Well, I expected to find a car actually
Any chance to shoot a video from the cabin, unless it is the top secret?

I thought you would like it.  Not as big as a Mi-8!!

I'll see if I can get a video from inside, shouldn't be too much of a problem.  Not Top Secret either, just the basic trainer.

It's very basic.  No autopilot, SAS or AFCS.  It has been upgraded with modern avionics, though (glass AI and HSI, as well as twin Garmin 430s).

SAS - Scandinavian airlines system or Special Air Service?  :D

AFCS? CS - control system? AF - auto flight/ auto fire?

Sorry...

SAS - Stability Augmentation System

AFCS - Automatic Flight Control System

And you picked HSI and AI.

I shouldn't talk jargon.

I shouldn't talk jargon.
That's ok, I see there are common systems for both civil and military aviation.
There is EFIS on B737 classis too, which is comprised of EHSI and EADI and some other parts, such as SG, CP and etc
