Title: Our trip to mountains

Last weekend we did a short trip to mountains.It was pretty cold outside, nearly - 20´C,a lot of snow and beautiful scenery.I took some pictures of my steel grey coloured i30.

What are those buildings on the background of the first photo? Hotels?


FunRadio, hmm, seems to be similar to Russian HumorFM
(does anyone know what buttons are to be pressed in order to make the strip of preset radio stations look like on marijan765's photo?

Absolutly fabulous photo's but, it's a bit cold for me BBBbbbbrrrrrrr....

Yes, you´re right meehalych.Those buildings are hotels,some of them are new but most of these hotels were built at the end of 19th century and still looking very good.This place is cold High Tatras and thi are the largest mountains in Slovakia. It is quite similar to Aspen in USA.But not so expensive,of course.
I can´t help you with your radio problem.I see,that in the middle of your display you have the name of the radio station,but I´m wondering why is it not shown also on the lower part of your screen.It can be some problem with RDS in your country or just some setting up on your radio.I checked it on mine,but I couldn´t find the right solution to solve this problem.

Next time you upload pix to Photobucket aim for about 800pixels wide if you can please (like others I would like to see those lovely pix in more detail)  :mrgreen:

Looks very nice but I would also appreciate some larger photos  :mrgreen: Tinted windows also look great in combination with that color of the car.

meehalych: About the radio - the radios in face-lifted version have it like marijan765 has. I also have it the same in my current i30, but didn't have it in my previous 2008 i30.

The radio presets showing (or not) must be region specific, my 08 i30 had them, RDS didn't even show the numbers, showed the station name, same in the ix20

Beautiful Tatras, are for me and my wife's place of holiday each year in Zakopane. You have also a beautiful Slovensky Raj and caves in the Demanovska Valley. Is it Smokovec around?

No,it is nearby Tatranska Lomnica, on the way to Ždiar and to Polish borders.I like also this area around Zakopane,it is very nice and for us much more cheaper than here on Slovak side of High Tatras. Have you been to Nizke Tatry,Jasna Ski area?Also very beautiful.

I wasn't  in the Nizke Tatras yet. We are in the Tatra Mountains in August and we walk trails. From Tatranská Lomnica cable car drove by Skalnate Pleso to Lomnicky peak (expensive but interesting).
