I have created my own iGoogle Page which houses ......

News feeds from Australia,
BBC and
CBC (Canada),
Google translate,
Currency Converter,
Bureau of Meteorology weather radar,
"To Do" list,
Local Sunshine Coast Weather,
Dow Jones live,
Unit Converter,
Phunny Cat Photos and
Space Invaders.

It runs whenever I'm on the web and I have access to all the above at a click of the mouse.

Google translate is wonderful - but flawed.

In a recent thread I had difficulty with some of the Australian wording - but Google translate failed to turn it into proper English.

One embarrassing example of our language differences was when I phoned a local restaurant to book a table for dinner - he asked if I was bringing my Sheila. I told him no - I was bringing my wife Libby. (I thought for a terrible minute he had rumbled my girlfriend's name)
