GOT PROBLEMS OR ISSUES? => GENERAL => Topic started by: neoto on March 13, 2012, 06:08:30

This weekend I noticed that one of the license plate lights (on the tail gate) died and went to the nearest Hyundai dealer to replace it (well, they offer 24 months warranty on lights, don't they... :) ). Anyway, we noticed that the transparent housing cover is held only by one screw, while the other is already broken. The same could be seen on the 'healthy' light also.
Did any of you observe anything similar in your i30cw? Mine is around 1 year old.

Can't say I ever looked at mine (and haven't washed her for several months)
Did the deel 'r' ship replace the units?
-
Haven't had any problems like that - not in the "new" i30, nor in the previous one. Could that have happened during those cold days?

I can't really comment on this, except to say that I had my first globe replaced at the last (120,000 km) service so that's pretty good going.

I know old timers disease is getting to me, but didn't somone else post a similar issue a little while back? Be good to find it if possible and see what became of it. (I can't find it in search and I sort of feel it was an adjunct to some other topic).
