Looks GR8...

They had a moonlight blue SR in my local showroom for about 3 months recently... might still be there (looks sensational in the flesh) can't understand why it hasn't sold...

Good idea but changeover would be about 15,000 and I'd be losing about 5,000 on the Tiida which has only done around 7000 kms and the wife is very happy with the Tiida and..
you get my drift!...

I'm hopeful we will catch up one day Eyma health permitting (I'm going in to Hospital on Thursday for an exploratory op   )

Daughter traded Getz a month or so ago for a 2004 VZ ? Commodore Wagon in really good knick that her and her boyfriend can use to drive to Western Australia for a sort of working Holiday. If they like it over there they may settle and Ash wants to get a late model Black Honda Euro eventually. Changeover to the Commodore was only $4000 cash (so owes her about 12,500 which is about 4000 less than the going rate - they just needed something to cart their stuff and it has cruise etc...)

Cheers for ur comments..  Its amazing how many ppl have never heard of or seen an I30 yet...  It was the obvious choice to me..
Nothing really comes close...  and the deal I got was incredible...    3K under retail drive away price with free tint, mats and towbar...  oh and a full tank!    Its got a 5th alloy and 2 remote switch blade keys.   too good!
When I picked it up it had a reading of 12.4L/100klms...  after knocking up 850klms the past week in it the readings now 8.9L/100klms....  I'm not driving it hard although i don't believe in pussy footing it either. What should I expect the 2.0ltr to get down to?   Oh and it only plays my ipod in random mode...  which does suck a bit...  cant work out why (shrugs)
