G'day all
Reading through the owners manual it first stated that a USB should not be connected before engine start up, and should be removed before engine shut down.
Then later on the same page it states that you should plug the USB in BEFORE Engine start up.
Both come with warnings that if you do the opposite it will damage the USB.
Can someone please advise what is the correct procedure for the USB?
Can it be left in permanently or do I have to unplug it every single time I go for a drive?
Regards
Daniel

Just leave it connected. Been using mine every day since 3rd March and nothing untoward has happened.
Manuals eh? Don't believe a word

I've just leave mine plugged in and it still seems to be functioning quite well.
